Well I had never been to Johns Lake in Clermont before but I have a tournament there in two weeks so my Grandson Dustin, a good friend Barry Weaver and myself loaded up and drove the ninety miles to see what this Johns Lake was all about.Well I should of got the wind report first and I might of put off going today.Anyway we were there and the wind was not too bad at first so we tightlined some Rons zip Jigs and some homades on Vicious panfish 6# line first thing in the morning and found fish in eight to ten feet of water suspended at about five feet and were able to put some fish in the livewell. Then the wind picked up and we decided to shoot some docks with Champions choice 1/32 jig headt and Culprit curly tails and found out that there are some fish holding on some of the deeper docks.OK so what I think about Johns Lake is I can't wait to go back on a fair weather day an see what this lake can really produce. It did produc a mighty fine supper tonight which we just finished
