The artificial bite is getting better everyday with the warmer weather.

My client Dave R of PA fished the past 4 days and the early morning

topwater bite was very good.Dave caught between 12 and 15 fish each day

with most being caught on a HighRoller 3.25 and a Buzzbait.

We fished shallow spawning flats off the main river each day.

The bite did slow after 11 am each day and a worm worked very slow

was the key to getting the afternoon bites. No big fish were caught but

Dave did catch a lot of fish between 3 and 6 pounds. The spring shad run is

getting started and the topwater bite will only get better each day.

I stiil have these days open in March 18th 20th 23rd 25th 28th 29th 30th

31st.In April I still have a lot of days open and this is the best month for

topwater fishing on the St Johns River and Lake Monroe.

The water level is very very low which make for great fishing

but you can also get yourself in bad trouble if you do not know where you

are going.
