THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOLS REPORT!!!

Today was a day we all dream about when bass fishing in Florida.

My Clients Debbie and Donnie are in Florida on vacation an booked

a full day artificial trip on the St Johns River.

You know it is going to be a great day when the first fish in the boat is a

solid 11 pounder and the second fish weighs 9 1/2 and the third weighs

8 1/2 pounds and they just keep coming.Total fish for the day was only

about 12 but when 6 are over 8 pounds and all caught on a worm

and 7 ft med spinning rod with 12 pound test line it is a dream come true

for both the guide and the clients. And there were two other big fish lost

to line breaking. We pulled up on a small flat just off the main river channel

where I found some fish still spawning last week and everything was perfect

with a light wind and cloud cover.Deb and Donnie thanks for a day I will never

forget on the St Johns River.
