MAY IS STARTING OFF JUST LIKE APRIL!!!

I hope this report will let fisherman know that you don't have to come to Central

Florida only in Jan Feb and March during the spawn to catch Trophy Bass.

As of today my clients have now caught 14 fish over 10 pounds sense

Jan 3 2009.The two biggest fish weighing 11 pounds and 12 1/4 pounds

The 11 pounder was caught on April 1 2009 and the 12 1/4 was caught

today May 1 2009.Both of the fish were caught on a Bitters Bait and Tackle

7.5 Junebug Blue Tail worm rigged with a Gambler 1/8 oz rattle weight.

The fishing today changed a lot from yesterday as the current was at a stand still

all morning. After fishing the ledge my clients caught their fish on yesterday

and only getting two bites I knew we were in for a tough day until some kind

of current picked up.I took my clients to a fallen tree just off the main river channel

which sits in 18 ft of water and usually has a big fish around it.The first cast

produced this beautiful 12 1/4 pound St Johns River Trophy Bass.

Thanks Mr and Mrs Kataoka of Japan for another great day of fishing

and for all the great Japan gifts you brought me and my family.
