The past few days we have been catching schooling fish early in the morning

and shiner fishing later in the day and it seems to be working out very well.

Catching 6 to 8 pound fish has not been a problem but we can't seem to get

the really big fish to the boat.We have had chances at fish over 10 pounds

on a regular basis the past week but just can't get the job done.

Floating shiners under grass mats on the main river is the key to getting

the big bites late in the day.Early morning's we have been able to catch

schooling fish up to 6 pounds on topwater prop baits and C Rigged Senkos.
