The artificial bite is still going strong on the St Johns River.

My good buddy Rob Moots from Ohio had two great days Fri and Sat catching

limits of 5 fish weighing 27 pounds each day with big fish weighing 7 1/2 pounds.

Even through we had to deal with 15 to 25 MPH winds the fishing was still

good. The schooling fish on the river seem to be a little on and off but as

the shad get thicker the action will get red hot.I only have April 20th 21st 22nd

28th and 29th open but in May I still have plenty of days left open as of today.
