The past few days have been great on the St Johns River. We have caught both

numbers and size on both shiners and artificial baits.

My clients Tom and Tim Tully of AL had an unreal 4 hr trip yesterday catching

over 30 fish by 11am.All fish were caught on a Rattle Trap in less then 2 ft of water.

My clients Deb and Johns from TN had a great 6 hr trip on Sun catching

26 fish up to 9 pounds on both shiners and artificial baits. No picture as I

forgot the camera at home after down loading pictures from Fridays trip.

Folks this is the prime time to fish the St Johns River the next few months

as we have fish spawning and schooling on shad.I still have a few days left

open in March April May and the fishing will only get better. The topwater bite

has been super the past two weeks. Please take a look at our 2009 trophy page as we have already

caught 10 fish over 10 pounds for 2009
