Fishing in Palm Beach County this week has been fantastic, great weather feels like summer. The bite is on.

The snook fishing has been excellent around docks, sea walls, bridges and a long channel edges. The top water bite for Snook early morning has provided great explosive action using Rapala skitter walks.Snook ate very aggressive striking live bait mullet, greenies, pinfish all work well near channel edges. Bigger snook are starting to migrate to the inlets and beaches days when wind is calm great time to target these beauties.

Tarpon fishing has been hit and miss this past week. The juvenile Tarpon are in back days and canals. The bigger tarpon will be migrating down our local beaches. Calm days will make site fishing the silver king easier.

The docks have offered a plethora of species snapper, drum, moonfish, sheepshead, snook and lots of croakers.

The fresh water side peacock bass and largemouth bass have been active along docks and sea walls. The peacocks are really aggressive mid morning to late afternoon when the heat is on. Live bait or fast erratic lures like DOA jerk baits or Rapala crank baits will get you hooked up.

Well that is a fishing report for the past week, hope you all enjoyed. Remember you can’t catch them from the couch, so get out there and get hooked up. Tight lines! PhlatsInshoreFishing.com 5616444371. Visit us on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube.
