Summer is winding down and kids are back in school. This means one thing in Pensacola, the fishing is about to get red hot!

I guided Eddie and his friend John the other day in Santa Rosa sound. Our main target was trout and reds. We fished 6 foot drop offs about 200yards from shore. My clients, who were wonderful fisherman by the way, managed to boat 35 trout and 6 slot reds on a 4 hour mid day inshore trip. Not bad for a mid day Excursion! Most of our reds were from 22 to 26in with some nice 24in gator trout mixed in.

It won't be long before the bull red run! Keep in tuned to my reports!

Thanks

Capt Brant
