I wanted to scout some new areas in the bay. I met Coach Gaffney and we were at the ramp at 6:30 and after securing bait we started to look for some reds. Spot 1, 4 reds 2 slot, 2 not. Still moving we ran across some LARGE snook but they spooked ( they tend do do that when your sitting on their head). We did manage to get a nice 27 1/4 in snook but not quite big enough. I needed a trout to finish the slam and found 1 that was willing. Off the water by noon home in time for the game! The water temp was 81 things are cooling down and heating up!
