DECEMBER: The Sailfish bite is on in Florida!! Come join the Osprey as we target this species. With a cold-weather start on December 14th (record low temperatures), see picture of mist and fog lying on the ocean - we still fished and caught 7 sails on a half-day charter. The winds have been out of the north, we're kite fishing and using circle hooks and live bait. Within literally minutes of leaving the dock at Sailfish Marina, you are fishing and catching!

For the remainder of the week, we caught: Wednesday 8 sails with some mahi; Thursday 12 sails and 8 mahi; Friday 4 sails and a kingfish; Sunday 2 sails and mahi. The cold front returned again on Monday and we had great fishing day with 11 sails on Monday. Check out photos we had a professional photographer on one of the trips. Mahi, kingfish and cobia are around, but we're going to continue to target sailfish. Come join us!!
