Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing has the big Snook Dialed-In in southern Tampa Bay and Sarasota Bay. Today John F. of Sarasota caught and released the second 20# or better Snook in a little over a week by a client of Sun Coast Kayak Sport Fishing. The fish are being targeted in deep cuts between 4 and 5 feet deep with good moving water in front of dense mangrove shorelines. The fish in these areas are ranging from 10# upwards of 20# and many fish have been lost to too light tackle and heavy cover - which Snook love to use to their advantage when hooked.
Redfish are also reliable in many of these areas lately and the average Redfish is in the low slot between 18" and 22" but Reds up to 33" have been caught by clients recently.
