The Redfish bite has been outstanding on my last few trips.

The fish have entered their fall pattern and are now schooled up thru out the bay.

Its seems right now that even though live bait is still plentiful that the fish are more keyed into fresh cut dead baits.

This is the method I have been using to put my clients on the fish and the fish in the boat.

On my most recent trip I had to fellow's that were over joyed at reeling in fish after fish.

Most of the fish were in the slot as far as size goes but we did get some over with the largest going 33" giving my client some very nice drag screaming runs!

After the bite turns off on the redfish I turn my sites to our awesome mangrove Snapper fishery we have been experiencing for several months.

Most range in the 13 to 15" range but we have beeen getting our fair share of Snapper in the 17 to 18" range and larger.

This is some fun fishing and if you dont think a 14" fish can fight, you have never caught one of these on light tackle.

In the mix when catching these we are also putting some nice trout, mackerel and flounder to the boat.

This all makes for a nice mix.
