Decided to scoot down to Boca Grande pass for the sfternoon. With the moon aproaching the late outgoing tide was our only hope to catch a tarpon. Once arrived to the pass,we started to look for pass crabs to fill our live well. There was plenty of crabs flowing,so filling the well wasnt a problem. We started to run the beach to look for a pod or two of tarpon, and sure enough there was still a handful of fish around. We started to get slowly in front of the school, so we can shut down to make our presentation. It took three times before the spooky fish fially ate our crab. The fish jumped plenty and head shaked before we had her next to the boat. She went 130lb.
