Today was a day with another early start to beat this summer heat.

We mixed it up today putting some nice slot snook and bonnet head sharks in the 3 to 4 foot range to the boat.

If I said the bite was on fire I would be lieing. With water temps nearing the 90 degree mark the snook are just not going crazy.

We did manage to get them to eat and the key was using medium sized threadfins. They just turned thier noses up at the white bait.

The bonnet head sharks were a bit more aggressive and they did not refuse our offerings.

Our tally for a storm shortend morning was 8 healty snook and 6 toothy bonnet head sharks.
