Snook season back open for south east florida. The linesider action Is great along docks and sea walls using live baits and jigs for bait. Snook can also be found in deep holes or up on flats sunning them self. The bigger snook are found in holes typically schooled up. always fish were moving water is and use the tide to your advantage. The slot size for the snook is 28 inches minimum 32 inches maximum, one per person.

Gator trout are on the prowl in palm beach. Grass flats and deep holes are holding trout from 2 to 7 pounds. The trout are eating bass assassin lures in green or silver colors. Early morning and late afternoon produces best bite, be sure to move slow with trolling motor, so fish don't spook.

Jacks, drum, snapper, and lady fish are also prevalent along docks and grass flats. Jigs, plugs and live baits all entice strikes. Drum can be seen under docks and schools of jacks crashing bait schools on the surface, great signs fish are in the area and hungry.
