Lot's of small menhaden in the Cape Fear River has started the flounder & speckle trout bite to kick off.Fished the rock wall jetty south of Fort Fisher found some 3 lb. speckle trout. Plenty of bluefish and flounder just keep moving around the wall persistance pays off.
