Spoon Feeding to get a Bite

Marion County, Florida - Freshwater Fishing Report
Ocklawaha River

The weather was nice, a great day to be on the water, yet a terrible day to catch fish. It took many changes in color of Rons Zip Jigs tipped with minnows using clear Vicious Panfish line moving at about .4 mph we were able to catch a few descent fish. They were scattered, and when we did find them they were suspended in 8'-9' of water about four feet deep. We picked the Ocklawaha River in hopes of finding a new area to take customes but I think I will give it a few more weeks and try it again. Although the day was not a complete waste I was able to give a future guide some training as you will see in the photo below
