On that roller coaster again! West wind at 25 and gusty, hard incoming tide, the worse conditions you could imagine. Didn't have a bite until 12:30 when we caught a 16 inch fish!!! Tried several area's waiting for the tide to change then took one last shot back towards home. Had a half A**pick for end of the day, stayed a half hour more hopeing it would break open. No such luck. Paul Smitko had the hot hand for the last hour, 5 fish, 2 where keepers. Naturally Capt.Ron Sr. had a keeper and 3 shorts also. Haven't seen any jig fish up our way since the lousy weather last week. No lack of bait wherever we go, so it's just a matter of time. Maybe this cooler weather will shake things up.....Capt. Ron
