THE TOP WATER ACTION IS PRODUCING NICE DOLPHIN.

THIS PAST WEEK HAS BEEN A ON AND OFF THING WITH THE BOTTOM FISHING. LAST TUSDAY'S VOYAGE THE SNAPPER BITE GOT REALY HOT WE COUGHT OVER 30 SNAPPER AND GROPPER. THE TAIL'S UP TO 23" AND MANGROVE'S UP TO 20" AND A NICE DOLPHIN 22 LB.

WE MIST 3 COBIA'S ONLY BECOUSE I US 80 LB. TEST MONO LEADER. THAT'S SO THE SNAPPER WILL STILL BITE AND I CAN STILL BOAT THE BIG COBIA'S AS LONG AS THE HOOK IS IN HIS LIP THEN IT CANT CUT THE LEADER.ON FRIDAY WANTED TO CARTER ME FOR THE DAY

SO OFF WE GO THE DAY STARTED OUT SLOW WE ANCORED UP IN 125'WELL I THINK TONY GOT 3 GRUNT'S AND 1 MANGEROVE. SO WE STARTED TROLLING OUT FOR SOME DEEP DROP'S FOR COBIA. ON THE 3RD. DRIFT TONY HOOKED IN TO A BIG COBIA 50 LB.+ TONY TURNED THE FISH AROUND AND THE FIH DID IT'S CLASSIC COBIA RUN TO THE TOP SO TONY TIGHTEN DOWN ON THR DRAG A LITTLE BUT THIS FISH WAS NOT DONE IT MADE A FAST RUN DOWN AND PULLTHE HOOK.

WE ENDED UP WITH 2 NICE DOLPHIN AND 6 TAIL'S .

Then he got in a 16' cobia and been offshore ever sincs.From then on he started diving for bug's and hot spot's to anchor for bottom fishing. Now he fishes on the 26' sailfish called the LOSE TRIGGER.Now in the summertime it's snapper grouper and tourament's.In the fall it's big wahoo and dolphin in the daytime and sword's at night. winter it's sword's and grouper.
