After yesterdays fishing, thought with todays NE weather we would have a banner day. My exact words to Eric "Mortgage Man" were, Tomorrow, they will bite thier asses off!! Naturally when you make a statement like that it comes back to bite your own ASS, and it did!!

Had a hard outgoing current into that wind which made it too tough to fish the channels. Ran down the beach thinking we would loose some of the swell, that didn't work either, it was just as nasty there.

Anchored up on a decent reading and had a one, one pick on smaller fish. 6 keepers and some shorts. Bite completely died at slack and the change so we went back to the jigging.

Had the bird life like yesterday, saw the fish rolling, just had a tough time catching them. All smaller fish today, nothing like yesterday. Very frustrating to say the least.

Seems it's been a bite today, no bite tomorrow senerio for a week now.

Won't loose my faith though as we have had way too many excellant trips on the NE'sters. One bad one doesn't change my opinion or the anticipation of a great day when we have weather like this. Capt.Ron

PS: Gotta blame Mitch for promising all those fish to everyone today!!!!
