Didn't get off to a good start! Got to the boat at 5am checked everything, ran the motor everything seemed fine. Set up all the rods and was all set to go when the crew showed up at 7, I start the boat Dave unties the dock lines and I get a high temperature alarm. Not to lose time we jump down 2 slips down and take Dave's big Grady instead.

Got a call that the bass bite lasted about an hour but we set up anyway and had 3 runoffs with no hook ups. Andy did catch a short fluke on a #10 hook on a bunker chunk. I had out Dave Ogorzalek, Peter Ruffo, Renato Rosales and Andy Vanesko. These guys caught everything on the ocean floor except fish. Finally we ended the day (6 hr trip) with a few fluke drifts and they caught a few fluke Dave had the biggest at just over 19" Renato lost a good size fluke trying to get it to the net he even had one follow his bait back to the boat. I am giving these guys a 4 hr trip for the inconvience not much else I could have done it's nice to have a back up boat just incase. Thanks Dave.

Once we got back in Capt Carm who can build motors in his sleep checked out my problem and it seems the alternator jammed! I will be ready to go for next weekend. Also a big thank you to Jimmy (Gr8Ful Fish) he called and told me I could have his boat until mine is fixed thats much apprec
