The past week I have had clients from TN, FL, TX Jack Goldsmith joined

me for three days of great bass fishing the first part of the week.

We fished in 25 to 35 MPH NE winds each day but still managed over 30

up to 6 lb. each day.Mark and Melissa of Sanford FL fished with me for

a half day afternoon trip and it was a little slow as again we had to fight

the strong NE winds right up until dark.I fished with Tim and Nancy of TX

on a 6 hour trip and this team caught over 40 fish most on topwater

Prop Baits and Bitters Skip Shads. There are some very big shad in the river

at this time and that is what is helping my clients catch a lot of 4 to 6 pound fish.

The best times of the day have been between 9 am and 3 pm the early morning

bite has been a little slow as has the late afternoon bite.I still have days open

this month so if you are looking to catch some quality fish on artificial baits

give me a call.
