The past couple days haven't been the ideal fishing conditions here in Florida with the passing cold front and high winds. But the fish didn't seem to mind the weather yesterday or today even with a low of 37 degrees this morning. Scott Lewis and son Ben braved the cold and high winds today to have the trip of a lifetime. The schooling fish didn't really turn on today but my clients caught 12 fish between shiners and artificial baits.Ben had a pair of 5 lbers and then the big girl showed up and smashed a 10 inch shiner under a grass matt it was the fish of a lifetime for any fisherman and really the fish of a lifetime for a 15 year old weighing just 4 ounces under 10 pounds on the Certified Boga Grip. All this great fishing is taking place just minutes from Orlando Disney World and Daytona Beach on the St Johns River. I still have plenty of days open in April and May and the fishing will only get better each day.
