I took the last 10 days off for vacation and returned to the St Johns River today

to find the fish still bunched up in the same areas I left them two weeks ago.

Shallow flats with a mix of grass is the key right now on the St Johns River

and a Texas rigged worm with a 1/8 oz sinker is the bait of choice.

I had a few fish that did roll on a Producto Buzz Frog but missed it and

each fish hit a worm when I made a cast back to the same spot.

The new 2008 Trophy page is up on my website www.basschallenger.com

so take a look and see what this great river has to offer year round.

I am running a special for the summer on half day trips "St Johns River

Only". Info is on the website as well. This area of the St Johns River is only

minutes from Orlando,Disney World and Daytona Beach
