Update:
There is a great Chinook prediction this spring of 308,000 returns compared to last year's prediction of 141,400 amounting to an actual return of 123,100. If the run pans-out then it will be the fifth-largest return since 1980. Such a return will mean good fishing in March and April around Ucluelet.
