Today's trip with a grandfather, son, and grandson, could not have went much better. We found active fish right from the get go and had caught 22 keeper walleye by 9:30 am. We were simply pitching jigs tipped with half a crawler along some fairly shallow weedlines. Combine the new weed growth with dirty water from yesterdays winds along with warmer water temperatures...and you get very active walleye! The best fishing is just starting...
