Yesterday was the day be on the water but the first few hours of the day was tough on us. The bite started around 10:30 or so.. From then on we boated 30 to 40 fish and had 10 over for 4 lbs and the biggest was 6.9 lbs. We caught fish on traps and jigs. All trap fish where in 4 or less feet in grass and all jig fish came from 8 to 14 feet of water on rock and shell.

Today things were a little tougher but I had some guys practicing for a tournament so we didn't spend much time on one place. We went in a caught a few fish and left. The only thing different was the size just wasn't there today. We hit one good stretch and caught 15 to 17 lbs in about 30 minutes and left. All were just good solid fish. No Big ones but I know they are there. If they work it good they will catch them.

Still have a few days open towards the end of the month if anyone is interested.

Good luck out there.
