Thursday I got to fish with a local client that was practicing for a tournament and he requested not to be on the internet. We caught 15 fish just fishing around looking for different areas. We caught fish on Booyah spinnerbaits, Yum lizards, and the best bait of course was the Xcalibur Xr50 & Xr75. We targeted water 4 ft. or less around stumps and grass. Today was a lot tougher for my client and his daughter. We fished a lot of places in just a short 4 hour trip and managed to catch 6 fish on the same baits as yesterday. I guess the feeding times were correct today when they said it would be "Poor".

I have been receiving lots of emails from anglers wanting to know where they can get the new Xcalibur Xr75. Keller's Tackle and Grocery on Hwy 431 will have them on Monday the 25th. We all know how good the Xr50 is on Guntersville and the Xr75 is just as good with a bigger profile. For those of you who don't live near Guntersville the Xr75 will be available on Lurenet.com very soon.

I have April 2,17,18,19,23, and 24th open.

Bio: I have been fishing Lake Guntersville my entire life and I specialize in fishing grass on Lake Gunterville. Living here in North Alabama all my life, I have over 19 years experience bass fishing on beautiful Lake Guntersville and other area lakes. I began tournament fishing at the age of 16 in local bass clubs. Not long after I then moved on to the nationally known trails such as Angler's Choice, BFL, B.A.I.T. and other large local tournaments. If you want the opportunity to catch bass, learn seasonal tactics, and have a wonderful time on the water, then your search stops here. Bass fishing is not just my job, it's my passion!
