Over the last couple of days the bite has slowed down. With the water level slowly starting to rise, surface temps are ranging from 59-65 degrees and color is a slight stain to clear. Monday I had the pleasure of fishing with Michael and Kevin from Illinois. We launch out of Goosepond and we fished Xcalibur Xr50's (Royal Shad) in 4ft. of water with a steady retrieve. Total for the day was 9 fish. Tuesday was about the same for guys from Knoxville, Tn. However Royal Shad didn't perform like Royal Red did. Funny how the fish change flavors one day to the next. Total for Tuesday was 10 fish. Wednesday my clients were from the Huntsville area and the fishing today was pretty much a copy of the last two days. Landed 8 fish and had a half dozen slaps. Most all came from the Royal Red Xr50.

Due to a cancellation and I now have March 19th, 20th and 28th open.

Bio: I have been fishing Lake Guntersville my entire life and I specialize in fishing grass on Lake Gunterville. Living here in North Alabama all my life, I have over 19 years experience bass fishing on beautiful Lake Guntersville and other area lakes. I began tournament fishing at the age of 16 in local bass clubs. Not long after I then moved on to the nationally known trails such as Angler's Choice, BFL, B.A.I.T. and other large local tournaments. If you want the opportunity to catch bass, learn seasonal tactics, and have a wonderful time on the water, then your search stops here. Bass fishing is not just my job, it's my passion!
