[Lake Fork] Pre-spawn fishing on Lake Fork a must read. If you haven't been to Lake Fork you should go! This last week was a little tougher and we had to work a little harder at putting fish in the boat, but we did and the numbers are better than in years past.

[Kentucky Lake] The biggest change I've seen is that each day more fish are coming shallow. This should hold up so long as our warm trend continues.

[Guntersville Lake] Just that title is refreshing. Especially since late last winter anglers fishing Guntersville Lake were struggling with nighttime lows in the 20's and mid day highs not even reaching 50 degrees. Spring on Alabama's largest Impoundment Guntersville Lake, is as good as it gets for fishing for largemouth bass in shallow, weedy waters.

[Lake Palestine] Bass are beginning the spawn and what great action fighting those Bif Green backs. Bass are hitting Green Pumpkin Pepper Nichols salty mother sinkers, which are like a 5 inch senko type bait and Grubs worked Texas rigged. Water melons were good colors for the Grubs.

[Lake Fork] A sustained warming trend has the big bass on the move at Fork, with fish up to 10 lbs caught in my boat this week and lots of big fish being reported at local marinas. Typical of this time of year, we've had several days with well over 20 bass caught, while a couple days were downright tough.

[Orlando] Bass are bedding on Butler Chain and willing to play. Mid week saw the bite pick up as the water temps started reaching the upper 60's and bass started heading to the beds, with several bass in the 5 and 6 pound class being caught in and around the beds.

[Eastern Sierra] I scouted the areas recently and was a little dismayed at the low numbers of fish spotted on Big Springs and the Upper Owens River. Hot Creek was a different story in some locations, the East Walkers “trickle” flows are a crime in my opinion and I will not fish here with the current releases (22cfs).
