I had the pleasure of fishing with anglers from Birmingham, Nashville, and Huntsville this week. While some of the guys were just fishing for fun, others were preparing for upcoming tournaments. Each morning we would start off throwing Booyah spinnerbaits on the river ledges with very limited success. It was defiantly feast or famine on the blade. As the day went on we would also use Yum ribbon tail worms, Yum Dingers, Heddon Spook Jr. and Xcalibur Zell Pops in 3-6ft. The numbers were down this week after the small cool front (Monday -12 fish), (Tuesday – 8 fish), (Wednesday – 6 fish), (Thursday – 15 fish), but the quality was there. The lake is at full pool and we are beginning to see 80 degree water temps, so remember to add ice to your livewells.

Bio: I have been fishing Lake Guntersville my entire life and I specialize in fishing grass on Lake Gunterville. Living here in North Alabama all my life, I have over 19 years experience bass fishing on beautiful Lake Guntersville and other area lakes. I began tournament fishing at the age of 16 in local bass clubs. Not long after I then moved on to the nationally known trails such as Angler's Choice, BFL, B.A.I.T. and other large local tournaments. If you want the opportunity to catch bass, learn seasonal tactics, and have a wonderful time on the water, then your search stops here. Bass fishing is not just my job, it's my passion!
