There's no Florida fishing report this week, as I wasn't on the water. So, this is a great opportunity for me to bring you some more customer reports and pictures from near and far.

The first is from Terry Wyrock, who is an avid local angler who fishes a lot at night. Terry caught this 36 inch redfish on a pinfish in Estero Bay, fishing next to a dock. He estimated the weight at 15-20 lbs, and caught it on fairly heavy spinning tackle using 30# Power Pro and a 60# leader. Nice fish, Terry!

Next is a report from my customer Steve Shellnut, of Hamden, Connecticut:

Butch,

Sorry for not emailing sooner but it has been a busy summer. I really enjoyed our trip this past June and I'm making plans for a trip in early June of 2008. I will let you know when I have exact dates. We had a good year for Striped Bass in Connecticut this year. I have attached a picture of my largest of the year, a 45lb. brute caught on 11-18-2007. I don't always dress that fashionably but it was 25 degrees when that picture was taken. It is now too cold for me so I'm done fishing until April. Can't wait to fish Pine Island Sound again!

Happy Holidays,

Steve Shellnutt

Next we have a couple of nice pictures from Chris Foust, another local angler that fishes a lot, and does well. He didn't provide any catch information. Great catch!

Last are a couple of pictures from my old friend Willy Van Der Vorst, from Austria, with a nice mess of beautiful trout. He didn't provide any catch details.

Thanks to everyone who sent in pictures. Remember to include details of your catch, or a short report if you will, when sending in pictures. And, remember, for my customers only! Check out the fantastic products from G. Loomis at American Legacy and get back to me with anything you're interested in.
