Fishing Fort Lauderdale with Topshotfishing and Capt. Zsak

Fishing buddies from Pennsylvania, Don Roland, Abin Bandy, Rob Dominic and David Reciguo, were in Fort Lauderdale to celebrate David's bachelor's party by chartering the Topshotfishing team to do some deep sea big game sport fishing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The boys brought plenty of beer to celebrate this momentous occasion. Winds were out of the east at 12 mph, seas running 2-4 ft., temperatures in the mid 80's with blue skies.

After leaving the dock at Bahia Mar, we headed out to the sea buoy which is located in 120 ft. of water, 1.8 miles from shore in Fort Lauderdale. We started off trolling with two #8 plainers down and four surface baits. With water temperature at 80°, it is a good technique to put bait down deeper with #8 plainers. As we trolled the reefs, zig zagging from 80 ft. of water out to 200 ft., the party progressed on with the sound of popping beers. All of the anglers took turns bringing in fish and joking with the groom to be. We wound up with a total of four Kingfish, two Bonitos and one Cuda.

From here the bachelor party moved inside the a/c salon and they continued enjoying their refreshing beer and watching sports on the TV during the trip back to the

Bahia Mar Dock, located at 801 Seabreeze Blvd. Fort Lauderdale 33316.
