The mullet run is starting to go into full swing here on the Treasure Coast of Florida and with this it brings some of the best fishing of the year. Snook, Trout, Redfish and just about any other species of fish can be caught by live lining out a lively mullet. Working the shore lines at first light with a live mullet is a great producer for Snook and Reds. Also a benefit of live lining is you can put that bait out, put it in a rod holder with a light drag and still throw artificials until that rod bends. Throwing a live mullet around docks is a preferred method in the evening and we have some really great spots that are just alive with Snook and waiting for that mullet to swim by. Offshore the mullet run also stimulates the Dolphin and Sailfish bite. So with this knowledge you can use it to your benefit to take advantage of some of the best fishing time that Florida has to offer.

Smokin EM Charters has plenty of openings for both inshore and offshore fishing charters to take advantage of this time frame. Check us out at www.florida-fishingcharters.com or call the Captain at 772-323-1827 to book your trip today.
