Doug and Dan joined Capt Tim aboard TwinstiGator Charters to get their Mullet Run Baptism of Fire and they got to see a show! Several pods of mullet showed up near the trough and the pods were getting worked by Tarpon, Snook and Jack Cravelle.
The mullet were getting showered with almost no let up. After jumping a few Tarpon, Dan got tight on a beautiful 60 lb Tarpon! Dan did a great job fighting this beast and tamed her at boatside after a 20 minute fight. The Tarpon on the beach truly have another gear when compared to fish caught elsewhere. They just have greater power and stamina.
