This past week the deep-sea fishing with Lady Pamela II sportfishing has been very, very, very good. That means it has been exceptionally good!!! It seems like we have been catching everything that swims this week. Dolphin, wahoo, blackfin tuna, king mackerel, and let's not forget about the sharks.

Mark and Joe were out earlier this week for some reef trolling as a warmup, and then it was offshore for sharks. We were out in 300 feet of water and the baits were going in the water. We had a top bait that was just moving off the back of the boat when a 200-pound mako came right up on the surface inhaling the top bait. Nobody expected a fish that fast so the hook did not get set and Mr. Mako was able to throw it out after a few minutes. It was fun while it lasted though! The anglers and crew got themselves settled down after that, and within an hour, we hooked up a nice hammerhead. This fish was well hooked and our anglers got it nicely to the boat for some pictures and a release.

Tight Lines,
