On a couple of blowy days last week, SeaSquared chose the calmer waters of Florida Bay for our clients. For both trips, we hit wrecks about 10 miles from the dock at 7 Mile Marina. The Johnson clan, visiting from Oviedo FL, had a day of family fun fishing with tasty rewards of mangrove snapper in the 15" to 18" range. The kids also had fun catching and releasing a couple of sharks. Returning client Tim McKenna, of Sebring FL, treated his girlfriend Debbie Ohanisain, to her first saltwater fishing adventure. They caught mangrove and yellowtail snapper to take home and share with the family.
