Thursday we headed back out into the darkness to try and catch some more Tarpon, and see if we could invite a nice Snook home for dinner as well. Unlike Tuesday the water was moving much better and I had a good feeling we would catch some fish tonight. We started out fishing for Tarpon and before I could even get a second bait in the water we had our first fish on. It was a nice 50 to 70 lb fish that gave us a nice fight and some jumps before we got it boat side for some pics and a release. As soon as we reset and get new baits in the water we were on again with another fish. This one was smaller then the first only about 30lbs or so and we quickly got it the boat for another release. After that fish we did not get anymore bites so we decided to try for some Snook. We fished for two hours and unfortunately the only two bites we got, we could not capitalize on. The hooked pulled on the first fish when it came to the surface and started shaking its head, and the second fish just laughed at us and ran right back into its whole after eating the bait. We could not even slow it down or turn its head, it just took us to school. After that we decided to try for some more Tarpon before we called it a night and ended up hooking 3 more fish and landing 2 of them before we packed it up and headed home
