The spring fishing in Fort Lauderale really is world class. On any given day we have the opportunity at catching sailfish, tuna, mahi, wahoo and many more species.

This time of the year we have blackfin tuna nearly a guarantee. Although there are never guarantees in fishing, this is one of those fish that if you get a bait out in the right depth, you are going to get a bite!  Just check out this nice blackfin are client landed.

And there are yellowfin and bluefin tuna around.  Although a big bluefin would be nearly impossible to land on the gear we are fishing we have had some yellowfins come across the deck.

And while we are getting tunas, the kingfish bite has been strong with some fish up to 40 pounds.  Using live bait or trolling bonita strips has been working best.

The bonitas are also around, which is mostly bait for us.  Whether trolled on planers or used as live bait, the wahoo LOVE THEM.

So get out there, as you have a wide species to target. We are running several trips daily and have a few openings.  Give us a call.

Tight Lines,

Captain David
