I am asked many times a year “when we catch our limit of stripers are we done”, I have always tried to explain the reasons why we shouldn't, and most people understand and agree that we have to protect the fish population not only for my livelihood but for our children and their children to come.

The striper fishing is great this time of year. We departed the mairna at 9:00am and the day started off a little cool with the 10 mile run we had to make to get to the fish but warmed up as the morning went on. I had a father and two sons (age 9 & 12)on the trip they had a blast catching their 30 fish limit.
