Sal Mattino

Hello everyone, Captain Sal here from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters. This was a day that started out perfect and ended perfect with thirteen different types of fish caught in one day of fishing.I fished with two guests that wanted to enjoy a day of fishing with me in the Indian River with the wide assortment of fish that is afforded in the Fort Pierce area.

To my delight the day started with some nice sized Sheepshead ranging from 10-16 inches in length. Also caught was a nice assortment of Mangrove snapper and occasional Lane snapper thrown in. The gag grouper ranged from 10-16 inches in length. Along those lines were some Spanish mackeral and a Bluefish. The day was rounded off with one of the biggest Ladyfish I had ever seen!

The mixed bag of fish ended with a flurry of Puffer fish and some good old gray Catfish.Thats my report from St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters, I am Captain Sal, Boat safe & fish hard!
