The water temperatures have cooled slightly and the redfish have been schooling up in large numbers.

On a recent trip on Sunday 10-7-07 Three of us got into eight redfish all in the 24 inch to 33 inch range. The cooler mornings have ignited the fish to feed heavily on the live bait we have been throwing out at them. In addition to the redfish we caught we also brought in 2 black grouper, mackeral and a cobia.

As the month progresses and the water temps cool more, the fishing action will take off more than it is right now.
