It's been a while since my last report. I have been extremely busy fishing the sailfish circuit. We had a great season this yr winning money in 5 different tournaments and taking home 3 third place finishes. My crew did a great job catching at least 80% of the fish we saw each tournament. This past weekend we fished the Miami Billfish Tournament. We caught 4 out of 6 fish the first day, 4 out of 4 fish the second day and not even seeing a fish the third day. We ended the tournament in 5th place in the outboard division and somewhere around the 15th place position in the overall tournament. Great job to the winners including my good friend Bouncer Smith!

Now on to the fun stuff. I have done a few trips in between tournaments. We have been catching plenty of sailfish, dolphin, bonitas, and kingfish. Right now the afternoon bite is where it's at. The Blackfin tunas have been slowly but surely been showing up. Anyday now they should be here in full force. This is the time of yr that I wait all yr to fish. Almost all of our trips should be highly successful and a lot of fun. I have a few swordfish trips this weekend so I will have a swordfish report to put up on monday. I have not done much tarpon fishing this yr but I have recieved some great reports of 4-7 bites a night! They seem to have finally turned on.

Give me a call and let's get out there and take advantage of the great fishing we will be having the next few months!
