Sal Mattino

During a late winter day we started out with an out going tide. The bite started off with some small mangrove snapper and a few mutton snapper. Then the Sheepshead bite heated up as the morning temperature started to rise!

Within the hour we boated fifteen plus Sheepshead between the two to four pound range. After the Sheepshead bite slowed down the Puffer fish took over with a vengence! You would be surprized on light tackle those little guys can put up a pretty good tug of war! We finished off the day with a few more Mangrove Snapper which rounded out a good day with a nice mixed bag of fish! Please visit my web-site and check out the photo gallery of all the fish that have been caught with St. Lucie Sportfishing Charters. Boat safe Fish hard! Capt. Sal.
