The sailfish are finally here. With the strong NE winds we are having right now, the blue water has moved over the reef and the sailfishing has picked up. Last week was dolphin heaven. On 2 different trips last week we caught multipul dolphin, sharks, and kings. We only caught one sailfish all of last week, but that has changed this week!

With the Sailfish Kickoff coming up this weekend, we have been fishing just about everyday. Monday afternoon we snuck out for a few hours, found beautiful water, and were able to land 3 sailfish in 2 hours. Tuesday and wednesday we went out again, and caught a total of 12 sailfish. Its definetly going to be a good tourney!

Swordfishing has been pretty steady for those who have been able to get out. I have not been out myself, but i have gotten some reports of good numbers of fishing being caught. There have been a few fish over 200 and i have also herd of a fish over 300 last week. I still have some dates available this month, and remember the tarpon should start showing up soon! So book your trips well in advance!
