Two reports,

3-9-2007 We fished from 6-2 on this gorgeous day and I don't think anyone could have requested better weather to fish in. Unlike yesterday our fish bit this morning instead of the afternoon. We landed 21 fish on the Royal Red and Royal Shad Xcalibur Xr50 in water less than 4ft. We didn't catch any big fish but the positive side is lots of small fish are Guntersville's future and it was nice to see that we do have small fish in the lake. With clouds predicted for tomorrow the big fish should bite pretty good this weekend for those out there.

3-8-2007 I got to go fishing today with Charles Clemons a good friend of mine. We used the Xcalibur Xr50 in Royal Shad and Royal Red and covered lots and lots of water. We found several nice groups of fish in 3ft. or less around scattered grass and the fish were absolutely crushing the Xr50. You can see in the picture how far down their throat they had the bait swallowed. We caught 13 fish and the majority of them came after lunch. Unfortunately we had to leave them biting but there is always another day.

I only have March 28th open and 7 days open in April.

Bio: I have been fishing Lake Guntersville my entire life and I specialize in fishing grass on Lake Gunterville. Living here in North Alabama all my life, I have over 19 years experience bass fishing on beautiful Lake Guntersville and other area lakes. I began tournament fishing at the age of 16 in local bass clubs. Not long after I then moved on to the nationally known trails such as Angler's Choice, BFL, B.A.I.T. and other large local tournaments. If you want the opportunity to catch bass, learn seasonal tactics, and have a wonderful time on the water, then your search stops here. Bass fishing is not just my job, it's my passion!
