[Boston] Big Bass move in into the the inner-harbor bays chasing silversides. Traveling anglers have a field day catching keeper-size bass on the surface with light-tackle and fly tackle.

[Saginaw Bay] Welp, seems like Ol'Capt Dan was a little premature about the cooler nights and the cooler water temps on my last report. Because since my last report, both the air and water surface temps have risen considerably. The water surface temps on the inner Bay have went from 70 degrees to 77 degrees in a short 10 days with this recent heat wave.

[Logan] Bass fishing was very good this past week. Anglers fishing for white bass did well using minnows, top water lures, curly tail grubs, sassy shad, Lytle Secret's and crank baits. Several good size smallmouth and largemouth bass were taken by anglers using Ricos, Pop Rs and buzz baits in the early morning and late evening hours.

[Kentucky Lake] White Bass fishing has been very good. I have seen a few jumps but not for any extended periods. Try Roostertails or Mepps in line spinners, in white, chrome and chartreuse colors. Trolling with a crankbait downrigger has also produced good results.

[Lake Allatoona] Linesides are still king! Catching both hybrids and a limited number of stripers early in the morning on live shad, bream, spottail minnows. Look for breaking fish by Red Top and Dam area, on into Stamp, down to Galts Ferry.

[Lake Palestine] Well Bass fishing has picked up some this week with Bass being caught up to 5-6 lbs. along with some solid good Bass in the 3 lb. range. Bass are holding tight nearer to deeper channels and deeper break lines away from the banks.
