My oh my, what a day with Steve who is now living part time in Miami and wanted to check out the local fishing.  We was up for anything and wanted to do some fly fishing was well.  With a calm morning we fished out of Homestead and worked a shoreline not far from the marina for bonefish.  I have to tell you, Steve can cast a fly rod and once he shook the rust off he got better as the day progressed.  His casting was rewarded with a nice bonefish on fly not long after we got started.  Once again, what a way to start the day!  After his bonefish in fly we decided to fish spin tackle.  Wait, isn't it usually the other way around?  Not today!  Once we switched to spin it was non stop bonefish again with Steve going a total of 5 for 7.  Nice!  Once that slowed down I took him snook fishing but we had to work for this one.  The snook were there but they weren't as active, no worries we had a secret weapon, Steve.  After some work he hooked and landed a solid snook that gave him a great fight and some awesome jumps.  Wow!  The trip ended early with Steve landing another snook at another spot.  It'll be tough to beat this day!
