Since my last report, it's been nothing but WOW fishing. Offshore the sailfish, kingfish, and bonito have kept many anglers busy. Throw in an excellent run of blackfin tuna just for good measure and the offshore angler could hardly ask for anything better. Move back inshore and the tarpon fishing has been outstanding with many many fish over the 100 pound mark.

The end of April and so far May, have proved to be a great time to fish in South Florida.We have had as many as 15 shots one day with sailfish (we caught 8 that day), we also had a day with 9 sailfish releases and multiple days with 4 to 7 releases. Add a few blackfin tunas, some kingfish and a big mahi or two, and now we are talking of some great action on the edge.

It's time once again to get caught up with the fishing report. Since my last report it has been almost none stop fishing each day with just a few exceptions. Most of the days we've had good blue water and north current. It's been dolphin, kings, sailfish, and blackfin tuna, with bonito getting in on the action too.

What a wild week! We fished with the Della Monica gang on March 29th and 30th. Surface action was slow, so Joe ask us to try the bottom fishing. He sure called that shot. In 3 hours Saturday afternoon and 3 hours Sunday morning we caught 13 red snappers averaging 10 pounds. The biggest was 16.5 pounds.
